Motive Hanover was content to let Little Ben (Renaldo Morales III) cut the mile while he raced uncovered for the middle half of the race to power to a 1:56.4 victory. The stout son of Well Said is trained by Mark Ford for longtime patrons George & Rose Bonomo. Finishing second was Nui Ba Den N (Cory Stratton) followed by Super Pac Hanover (Michael Merton) He was driven by Greg Merton

Thinkbig Dreambig is back on track after scoring an easy 2 length win in 1:57.1 with Cory Stratton aboard for trainer Ken Koch. The former Jimmy Takter pupil, was a $180,000 yearling purchase, a son of Bettor’s Delight, in his heyday he raced in the Meadowlands Pace, The Adios, The Tattersalls, The Breeders Crown and won the $400,000 Carl Milstein.  He has a record of 1:48.2 taken at the Red Mile in the Bluegrass Stakes with career earnings of over $610,010 and was driven by Jordan Stratton through much of career.
