Foo Fighter N takes Open

Foo Fighter N enjoyed a perfect 2 hole journey behind the Daamericansky throughout the mile, at the top of the Stretch he opted to go to the outside to take aim on the leader.  Sent off at odds of 15-1, the longest shot on the board he eventually got past the leader to score in 1:55.1 on an sticky racing surface, Daamericansky was second (Huckabone) with Air Guitar (G. Merton )getting up for the show position. It was win # 4 for the aged American Ideal gelding for owners AST Racing, he is trained and driven by Ralph Silvestri III, it was Silvestri’s 23^rd driving win on the year.

The tandem of Greg Merton and Robert Lounsbury teamed up for back to back winners with Commondiscourtesy 1:57.1 – $26.80 and Diva Dali 1:58.4 – $7.80. Driver Jim Devaux also got into the act with an early driving double on the card.
