Chip Chip Conway wins In a Blanket Finnish

Like the Eveready Battery, Chip Chip Conway just keeps going and going. In this week’s Open Trot, the war Horse Chip Chip Conway scored in a blanket finish over Cinnamon Stick (G. Merton) and Itsoneofthose (Alan Schwartz) in 1:58.4 – $5.90.  With the win he is now tied with Play to The Crowd as the winningest horses on the grounds.

This afternoon saw a little of ever thing, Bruce Aldrich Jr. had a pair of winning drives, leading driver Jimmy Taggart had a driving triple. Gary Messenger had an excellent day with 3 training winning wins on the card, the triple puts him atop of the leader board overtaking Laura Aldrich for leading dash winning trainers.

Also on the card were a pair of NAADA races, the first event was won by Michelle Crawford aboard Wicked Nick in 2:00.0 – $17.20.  Alan Schwartz scored with the Gary Messenger trained Bully Boy in 1:58.4 – $3.30.
