Aldrich Jr. Overtakes Mike Merton for 3rd

Bruce Aldrich Jr. led all drivers this afternoon with a driving triple, the tri was good enough to overtake Michael Merton (162) for the third spot in the Driver Standings with 163 wins. The wins came aboard the Jim Doherty Jr. trainee Banzai AS 2:04 – $2.30, he came back the next race and drove We The Female (Aldrich Jr.) who turned back 15 time 2023 winner Play To The Crowd in 1:58.3 -$5.80.

The bases clearing triple came with Come Zoom With Me in 1:58.1-$4.40, trained by Laura Aldrich and owned by Gary Haas of Bloomingburg NY, the 4 year old garnered her impressive tenth win on the year.

Bank Guard notched his fourth seasonal win with Adam Moeykens, the recently named Monticello – Goshen USHWA 2023 Rising Star at the helm for trainer Murray Bassen, the tandem of Bassen and Moeykens also steered home 18-1 Bestgirlfriendever in an even 2:00 – $38.40 for respective doubles.
