Big Day For Mike Merton

The Merton brothers enjoyed a successful day by winning 4 of the first 5 races on the 11 race card, Michael won an impressive 5 races and Greg scored 1 win, sister Veronica also got into the act with a training win with Constntlysidwys A (Paquet Jr.)  In the afternoon’s finale, Mike bagged his fifth win on the day aboard Wind Blast for trainer Monica Eriksen for the fastest mile of the day in 1:55.4 – $2.30.

The familiar colors of Greg Decker Jr. have made a return in a winning way aboard See You Tuesday in an even 2:00 – $6.60 and then with Little Guy in 1:59.3 – $3.30. Fern Paquet Jr. also had a driving double aboard Nothing Tosee Here 2:00.1 – $11.00 for trainer Art Jones and Constntlysidwys A 2:00.1.
