Mystical Gal Continues her Winning Ways

Mystical Gal continues to rack up the wins, this afternoon she made it 4 in a row, eighth victory of the season and a new season record with the fastest mile of the day of 1:56 – $4.30 with regular pilot Mike Merton at the helm for trainer Art Green, The 5-year-old Pang Shui mare is owned by Gus G. Scarpias of Massapequa Park, NY.

In other Racing Action, Mike Merton, and Bruce Aldrich Jr. each registered driving doubles on the afternoon.  In addition to Mystical Gal, Merton also scored with Judge Ken 2:00.3 – $5.70 in the opener. Aldrich won with Lady Chrislyn in 1:57.4 – $3.20 and with Sunshine Filly in 1:57.3 – $7.70 for leading trainer Laura Aldrich, presently Laura has a 1-win advantage over Danny Gill (37-35)
